Today while visiting my mom I captured this picture out her window. It’s another case of me playing with the camera on my new phone. I even added a High Contrast effect and I think it’s a pretty cool picture and worthy of being my picture of the day.

Saturday morning once again found me at Violet’s dance class. So I snapped today’s picture of the day of her, while she danced around waiting for her class to start. It amazes me how excited she gets around dancing. When we’re at the dance studio, my shy little Violet is so friendly and out going. I’m glad we’ve found something that she enjoys so much.

Today we had snow, so while Jacob was in school I bundled up Violet and headed out to have some fun in it. It was a lot of fun watching her play in the snow. I just hope we get some more and I’ll have a opportunity to watch both the kids play in the snow soon.

Another day and another photo. Today we have a picture of a delicious snack Melissa made for me. It amazed me the effort she went to for it, and then didn’t even have a single kernel.

I guess my little girl isn’t ready to give up her after noon nap. I took this picture of her at the dinning room table while she waited for dinner. She tries so hard not to fall asleep. but the day is just to long.

Today Melissa cooked up some of her famous spaghetti. During dinner I couldn’t help but snap this picture of Violet. Though it was Violet who inspire the title for to days post. While she eating she said Messy… It was so cute I knew I’d be using it for my Picture of the day.

Today Jacob headed back to school. He was very excited about getting back to school and seeing his friends. I snapped today’s picture while we headed to school this morning.

Today we spent a great morning with friends, celebrating a late Christmas with their kids and ours, and though I took a bunch of pictures of it. I couldn’t settle on one to use as my Picture of the day. Instead I thought I’d use this one of Violet with her Papa I took later in the day.

Today was Jacob’s first hockey game of 2012, and by the look of it he really wanted to be out there. Our picture is of Jacob getting ready to take the first face off of the game. The only problem was his line was supposed to start the game on the bench. I like to see Jacob trying to get into the play, perhaps soon he will be taking the first face off of the game.

Today was my work from home day, so between working on client projects I found time to do a few loads of laundry. When I came to take a basket upstairs to the kids room to put it away I noticed that the basket had a stowaway. I had to grab my phone and snap a picture. It sure made choosing a picture today easy.
