As Melissa’s been recovering the support we’ve got from friends and family has amazed and at times surprising. Today a food fairy stopped by with two trays of Sheppard’s (well Plowman’s) Pie for Me and the kids, and a surprise order of soup for Melissa. Thank your Food Fairy.

Today’s picture was me playing with the front facing camera on my phone. I seem to have so few picture of me with both kids. Now it would have been perfect t if I could have managed to get Melissa in it too.

Another day and another house guest. Today Aunt Lisa came to check on Melissa, though at times it seemed like she was here to see Jacob and not Melissa. She really was a good sport, letting Jacob show her his 3DS games.

Today was Violet’s god mothers Birthday and as luck would have it she ended up at our place visiting Melissa. What’s even better with prodding from Violet, Melissa was up to baking a some Cupcakes to celebrate.

As the clock runs down on another day I look back at the pictures I took today, and nothing Jumped out at me. It was just one of though day’s where none of the things I capture screamed out to me to be my picture of the day. Of course looking them over I did find this picture of my lunch and thought, hey it’s been a while sence I’ve used a food picture. So there you have it, a picture of the Pulled Pork sandwich I fries I enjoyed for lunch.

Nana was over for a visit and I captured today’s picture of the day. It was so cute to watch as Violet snuggle up with her Nana to watch some TV. It wasn’t long till both of them were snoring.

After the kids being away with Nana and Papa the last couple of days I was glad to find time this morning to play with them. One of the things we did was play Jacob’s new Cars Monopoly.

Today we have a guest photographer, Papa took this picture of the kids in the snow in Wasaga this afternoon. The kids seemed like they were having such a good time that I knew it would be my picture of the day.

Today while heading out I captured this picture of the falling snow. It looked like we were going to have some snow for the kids to play in. It was starting to accumulate on the side walks, and they were big puffy flacks. Of course within the our the snow has stopped and the sidewalks were clear. So much for a snowy day.

Today I found myself enjoying a cup of Tim Horton’s coffee. Not just any cup. It was the new bigger extra-large. I am a little surprised that as I was finishing it I found myself thinking that It might be a tad to large.
