My to little ones have very different tastes, Jacob wont each Macaroni and Cheese, while Violet wont eat Perogies. . Usually I wont make each of them their own lunches., but today was different. Today my boy wasn’t feeling well and my girl had a great morning of ballet so I set out make them each something they would like for lunch. Of course Violet insisted on helping. It was such a cute site I snapped a few pictures of her handy work.
Today Violet got her Gymnastics report card. I have to say I’m impressed with ow many of the skills she has picked up.
Today was the end of the winter session of Violet’s Kindergarten enrichment program, and so she got to bring home her workbook. She was so proud of it that she spent a long time this evening showing me the different things that she did. It’s amazing to see how much she’s learned over the last few months. I tried to get a video of her singing her ABC’s but it she wouldn’t cooperate. I’ll be trying again over the next couple of days and when I do I’ll post it.
Today our 8 year Anniversary, to celebrate I surprised her with some flowers. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 8 years the time has gone so fast, and now I can’t imagine my life without her. I love you Melissa.
For the last few day’s when ever I looked in Violet’s room I would see her princes blank draped over something. Today I decided to see what she was hiding. It was a Lego castle she’d built. She was quite proud of it and even posed next to it so I could get a picture.

Today after school we stopped in at my Mom’s place and while there I opened an old cash box for her. In it was a bunch of change, most of it was run of the mill pennies, nickles and dims, but there were a few interesting coins. Today’s picture is one of them a 1970 dollar coin. Seeing Jacob’s interest in the different coins, has me wondering if he’d be interested in starting a coin collection.
Ever since Violet’s unscheduled haircut she has wanted to be able to have ponies again. Today my mom gave them back to her. They’re still small but they’re a start.
Today was a busy day, with Ballet, Hockey, and a birthday party, but that didn’t stop up from adding more to it. After all that we headed to our friends place to have a little pizza party. A good time was had by all.
Today on the way to Gymnastics this morning, I captured this picture of Violet. She looked so cute sitting there. I also like seeing the reflection of the window in-front of her.
Continuing my picture of me series, here is February’s picture. I threw on my Blue Jay’s cap to celebrating the start of spring training.
