When I left work this evening I was greeted by failing snow, there was even some on the ground. My first thought was Damn Smarch Weather. So out came my phone and I tried to capture the falling snow. I tried and failed last march (POD: A Blistery Day) but it didn’t turn out to well. What do you think about today’s attempt?
Tonight I have a collage of Violet showing off her Rock Collection. I hadn’t realized how big some of the rocks she’s collected are. She is quite proud of her collection and knows where more of them came from.
This afternoon I sat down with Jacob to build some Lego. It was fun to sit with my boy building Lego. I think we’re going to have to make that a sunday after noon thing. Or perhaps a Saturday Morning one on day’s when Violet goes to Ballet with her Mommy.
Today we have a photo that I didn’t take, in fact it’s one taken by a professional, Tina Daquano (TinaDQPhotography). We spent the afternoon having a photo shoot. What’s great was that we got pictures of the whole family, and both kids were into the photo’s and posed without complaint. I can’t wait to see all the pictures. For now enjoy this family picture.
Today the kids spent the day with their Nana. I’m not sure everything they did to-day, but I do know that Jacob got a new set of Skylanders, and Violet of a toy shopping cart and a new Tea set. They both seemed happy with their new toys. I should include a bonus picture of Violet’s Shopping cart and tea set, but I just don’t feel like setting it up. Perhaps in the coming day’s I’ll be able to capture a good picture of her playing with the,
To celebrate Pie Day our family decided to have a round dinner. I thought about just getting a Pie, but thought the kids would prefer a pizza pie.
Last night Violet came downstairs in tears, it seems she had broken one of her heart crayons that we made for her birthday. She wanted me to fix it. So last night I tried, but nothing I did took hold. I had hoped she’d forget about it, but she didn’t. Repeatedly tonight she brought me the 2 pieces and asked me to fix it. Even brought me my Crazy Glue hopping I could use it to fix it for her. So tonight after she had gone to bed, I sat down to see if I could fix Violet’s heart. It didn’t take much, a clip, bbq lighter, a crayon and patience. Looking at it now it seems fixed. What I’m not sure of is how well the repairs will hold up in the morning when Violet get’s her hands on it.
This weekend Jacob’s Hockey season came to an end, so we got his Trophy and Team Photo. It was a good year for Jacob he score 4 goals and his skills really improved over the season. Of course next year we could have 2 kids playing hockey, that will make a busy Saturday Morning.

Today we celebrated the beginning of the march break with a special after dinner treat, a make your own Sunday spread. We even had Waffle bowls. It was a lot of fun first choosing what toppings to get and then spreading them over our scoops of ice cream.
Last night we set the clocks forward, so this morning all I wanted to do was stay in bed, but the weather was so beautiful I couldn’t waste the day in bed or even in the house. So The family headed out to the park to have some fun in the spring like weather. There was so many pictures of the kids that I couldn’t settle on just one.
