Today was parent teacher day at Violet’s pre-school. It was great to hear the different things they had to say about my little girl. She’s doing so well in class and it gives me confidence that she will excel in kindergarten when she starts in the fall. On the way to pick up Jacob after the meeting Violet posed for Melissa, showing off her new summer dress.
We had a special breakfast today, complete with surprise presents for the kids. Of course I took a ton of pictures before, during and after. When I sat down to look at them on my computers big screen one caught my eye, and with a bit of editing we had today’s picture of the day.
Today was Violet’s Ballet picture day and it was the first time that Melissa got to see her in her costumes. Last year she only had one costume (POD: Ballet Pictures), but his year she’s performing in both Ballet and Tap so there are two costumes. The only thing I didn’t like is that I wasn’t at Ballet today so I’ve only seen her in costume in the pictures Melissa took.
Friday night is swimming night, and today I decided to capture it a little differently. Thanks to Google’s new Auto Awesome, the pictures I took at the pool have been made into this cool animation.
Today Violet went to her Kindergarten orientation, she was so excited to be at school. Watching her at the different activity stations was great. I can’t believe my Baby Girl starts kindergarten in September.
Today as I headed into work I saw the subject of today’s picture of the day. I’m not sure what the truck was doing, but it looked cool so out came my phone. What every it was doing I think it had to do with Concrete as there was a half-dozen cement trucks lined up around the corner.
Another night spent at the Rogers Centre watching baseball, unfortunately tonight the days couldn’t come back from the 4-0 lead that Tampa took by the third Inning. They came close, the final score was 4-3. Tonight we had something different from our usual Keith’s at the ball game, thanks to a mix-up while ordering we enjoyed a round of Becks to start off the evening.
We had a full long weekend capped off with a picnic at high park. It was a great day spent in the sun with friends. Of course spending the day in the sun takes a lot out of you so, instead of going through the 200+ images I took I’ll use this Animated picture of Jacob jumping off a stump in High Park.
This weekend is the Victoria Day Long weekend and that means fireworks. Tonight the family headed to the big park to watch some of our neighbours put on a show.
Today I took a picture of Violet riding her little bike to the big park, I think it might be time to invest in a new helmet for my little girl.
