Today’s adventure to the kids down to Toronto’s Harbourfront to explore with their Nan. She captured this picture during their adventure. I’m not sure exactly where this was taken but the kids sure look like they are having a blast.

Today the kids headed to the Toronto Island for a day of adventuring with their Nan. They had a full day of exploring the island and riding the rides at Centre Ville. They were so exhausted from all the fun that they headed right to bed when they got home. Thanks mom for taking the kids on some many adventures this summer.

While I was at work today my mom sent me this picture of Violet and her Lego creation. She looks so proud posing with it and holding up her little doll.
POD: Adventure day with Nan

Today the kids had an adventure day with Nan. I’m not sure all what they did, but I do know they headed down to a playground near her old house. They told me they had a great day and are looking forward to more adventures as the week goes on.

Tonight before dinner the kids and I headed down to the local pool for a swim. While there Jacob took the deep end test and passed for the first time. That’s why he’s wearing the green wristband. He was so proud to be able to go into the deep end. Of course it was more than that, now that he’s seven and able to pass the deep end test he can be in the pool without an adult. My little boy is growing up so fast.

Today Melissa made a special treat. She made fudge, so after dinner I sat down with a fresh cup of coffee and enjoyed a few squares.

Tonight I headed now to the Rogers center for some baseball. The Jays didn’t reward me with a win, but it was a fun game and there is always tomorrow. It took me a while to decide which picture to use, in the end I settled for this one.

Today Jacob’s camp went to Medieval Times for their session field trip. He came back with a crown and a flag. He was so excited that I took a picture of him waving his flag for today’s picture of the day. Tomorrow is the last day of camp for the kids, this week has just flown by. They seem to be having such a great time. I’m so glad we signed them up for another week in August.

After dinner today me and the kids headed out for a little ride. Jacob rode his bike and Violet rode in the trailer. We headed to Marie Curtis Park where the kids played for a bit before we road home along the lake. I really enjoyed riding with Jacob and it’s amazing to see how much better he’s gotten in the last three weeks (POD:Learning to Ride).
