Today I for my picture of the day I have a picture lasagna. It’s just the lasted thing that friends and family has done for my family during this difficult time. I just wanted to thanks to all of you. It’s good to know we have such great friends and family.
Today Melissa got to work on Violet’s Schultüte. I’m so excited for her first day of school, of course then I remember that she’s growing up and I wish it wasn’t 3 weeks away.
I captured this picture of Violet using my book light to light her colouring as we came home from seeing mommy tonight. She just didn’t want to stop and the dark wasn’t going to stop her.
Today we have a picture of Jacob trying on a Beaver Scout uniform. He was excited to try it on and is looking forward to starting Beaver scouts in the fall. When I saw the picture I knew I wanted to use it as my picture of the day.
Today the kids went on an adventure with our friends Lisa and Jim and their two daughters. They did a few exciting things, like visiting Dundurn Castle and Glow in the Dark Miniature Golf. The kids seemed to have a great day, and I want to thank Lisa and Jim for taking them out for a fun day. Today’s picture of the day was taken at The Hamilton Military Museum at Battery Lodge. Jacob seemed to like dressing up as a solider.
Today we had a picnic dinner. It was nice watching them Melissa and the kids running around together. I captured today’s picture of the day as we were getting ready to head home for the night.

Tonight I found myself at another Jays game and so was my friend Tom who capture today’s picture of the day. I’m on the crowd can you spot me.
Today we have a picture of Melissa and Jacob taking a moment to watch the clouds together. It was fun to see the two of them having some fun this afternoon.
Tonight we have another Skylander of Jacob’s. This is Fright Rider, and once again I find myself wish I knew more about it. I think tomorrow night Jacob and I will have some father some time playing Skylanders.
Tonight while we were at Toys’r’us to pick up a present, Violet wanted to look at the bikes. The first one we looked at was a Lalaloopsy and I thought for sure Violet would say she wanted it, but while I was trying to draw her attention to it she yelled out in delight ‘A Purple Bike!’ so I took a picture of her with it. Of course she doesn’t really need a new bike this summer. Hopefully they will have a purple on for her when it’s time to get her next bike.
