This afternoon I found myself wondering around College and Spadina, so I went to check out the Merril Collection at the Lillian H. Smith branch of the Toronto Public Library. As I was leaving the library I noticed the owl on the wall, I thought Violet would like it so I snapped a picture for my picture of the day.
Today while getting Jacob’s clothing together for the laundry I found this little guy. I’m not sure who it is, but I thought it’d make a fun picture of the day.
Today I thought I’d change it up and bring back the monthly pictures of me. I’m hoping to start on the road of getting myself healthier, and hope to track the changes with a picture of me each month. Looking at today’s picture I’m think I probably she get to the barber shop for a hair cut soon.
As I reach 4 years of blogging every day, 3 months shy of 3 full years of a picture a day. I turn to the children lunches for today picture of the day, with the pledge that I will try to ad more creativity in the month to come.
Today we headed out for a family outing. It didn’t go as planned, but it was still a great day. I captured these pictures of the kids as the played on a Tractor at Chudleigh
Today Jacob’s season of hockey started with a practice. It was great to watch how hard he tried for the entire hour of the practice. Today we just had Jacob’s practice at 12:30. Next week both kids will have their first games, and we’re going to find ourselves spending a lot of our Saturdays at the rink, some day’s starting as early as 7:30am.
This week Lynn and Dan came by and transformed our bedroom from a place to sleep to a room for use to share. From mounting our TV to the wall and hanging some of our art, it just looks so much nicer now. Thanks Lynn and Dan for all your help. We surprised Melissa completely with the room and she loves the changes as much as I do.
Today was curriculum night at the kid’s school. So while there I took pictures of all of Violet’s artwork that was one the wall.
LAst night I shared a picture of Melissa’s surprise for the kids, tonight I thought I’d share their lunches complete with sunrises.
Today Melissa put together a little surprise for the kids. I’m going to slip them in their lunch boxes in the morning for them to find when they pull it out at lunch.
